Anne is now 4 months and one week old. Today she weighed in at 16 lbs 5 oz (95th percentile). She is 63.5 cm long (95th percentile) and has a head circumference of 43 cm (92nd percentile). Anne is a big baby. Her rolls are becoming quite large and numerous.
After treating us with the wonderful laugh videos in the previous post, Anne refused to laugh again despite our best efforts. It took a week and a half before she would laugh again, this time at a little dog that barked at cousin Max while they were on a walk with Grandma and Grandpa G. Just this past Saturday Anne started laughing much more regularly. She particularly liked swimming in Grandma and Grandpa B's pool and playing peekaboo with Aunt Lyn.
Other than the laughing and swimming we haven't had any more significant milestones lately. Anne continues to grow and become stronger. She is getting better at tummy time and likes to spend time in her Jolly Jumper. She also likes to be pulled into a standing position. She rolls from her tummy to her back once in a while, but it is not a regular occurrence and she still hasn't managed to roll from her back to her tummy.
Anne's hair is growing in blond at the roots and her eyes are turning decidedly brown. She has started to make a gurgling, cooing sound when she's feeling cheerful, which is often. She has huge jowls and is the cutest baby on Earth. That is my unbiased opinion.
