January 2016

January was mostly taken up by playing with new toys from Christmas, and a nice vacation to my parents' condo in Florida.  All of my photos for that month were from our trip.  On our trip we enjoyed the beach, pool, zoo, children's museum, and park.  The best part was spending so much time with Gramma and Grampa.  Charlie loved to go on golf cart rides with Grampa and long walks with Gramma.  Anne really enjoyed the beach, park, and pool.

December 2015

December was filled with Christmas.  We went to the Doon Heritage Village for their special Christmas event and got to ride on a horse-drawn wagon, meet Santa Claus, and see a real train engine.  Anne performed in a special Christmas concert at school.  We had several family Christmases as usual, and the kids were spoiled rotten.

November 2015

This is the first of several posts to attempt to get caught up.  

In November 2015 not a whole lot happened for us that I can recall.  The leaves were done falling and the weather was just beginning to get cold.  Here are some of our photo-worthy moments:

Most exciting event of the week: the leaves were removed by some giant trucks.  The loader driver talked to Charlie and honked his horn for him.  Later a street sweeper came around and Charlie got to actually sit in the street sweeper (alas, no photos).

Charlie pushes the neighbour's dog in his doll stroller.  Charlie loves to bring his doll stroller or lawn mower to the bus stop to drop-off and pick-up Anne.

Anne and Charlie are very excited by Gramma's bread bear.  Charlie immediately eats the belly button.
